Ashley Marie Perez

“My favorite days are those spent drawing pictures and playing with words.”

Ashley is an author and illustrator with an elementary school career both in the classroom and as a literacy specialist. She holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.

Ashley is an active member of SCBWI and the Rocky Mountain Chapter. She is a graduate from the Children’s Book Academy and has taken courses from the Picture Book Summit and The Writing Barn. Ashley meets weekly with Studio 5.5, a critique group comprised of incredible authors and illustrators. Ashley is so blessed to work with these wonderful women who support each other with their writing endeavors and in life’s adventures.

She is based out of Colorado and finds creative inspiration from her sweet bicultural family.
